Trip Two: Colorado State Tour

March 2012.

I am a tad behind on posting about my trips in 2012! In late March we drove to Colorado to visit a few groups of friends who have recently moved there. We stayed in Fort Collins, CO...amazingly cute place! With painted pianos placed strategically in the city for your playing enjoyment and tons of modern green shops.  We also stayed in Blackhawk CO in the mountains with our friend Drew in his cute cabin in the woods! He worked at the nearby casino tourist area and we hung out at the only mountain bar for miles.  Next we snowboarded at Keystone CO one of the biggest and best resorts! Next we stayed in Littleton, CO where the Columbine shooting happened at our friend's apartment.  We traveled to downtown Denver and went to a bar called 1Up where there are a ton of  arcade games to play while drinking, and lifesize Jenga!  We also toured Golden CO and stopped at Gunsmoke in Wheat Ridge CO and met Rich from the TV show Gunsmoke.  Colorado was amazingly beautiful! We even went hiking with our friends and their dogs in a few different spots.  Other places visited: Boulder.
