photo obsession

I love the idea of new years resolution...but really just start now! My new years resolution is to get my photography website and portfolio up and running. I will also create a new photography blog that strictly shows my work!!  I have been studying my camera and experimenting with the types of photography I am best at.  I want to offer pet picture packages and baby picture packages.  I really enjoy photographing close-ups of nature, very diverse landscapes that show a lot of contrast, and extremely odd situations with humans and objects.  I'm still not too sure about how to go about marketing these types of photos.  I will continue to document my travels, the changing seasons and my own personal family endeavors.  Hobby photography can be so fulfilling and inspiring.  When I view memories through the photos and visually stimulating material I am filled with a joy, probably the same sort of joy my father felt in photography school and during his twenties when he traveled a lot.  It's very ironic that he went to school and didn't work as a photographer and I am not going to photography school but am extremely passionate about being a photographer.  Good things to come......
